Top WebsitesThat Make Life Easier

Thanks to internet we can express our creativity more easily and today there are different websites that make our life much more handy. Seems like things are going worldwide, so this also can mean more opportunities to interact with different realities, travel, find funding to run a project and why not, find a job too!

Internet has become a "daily bread" and sometimes we can't immagine life without it although we should know how to use it...but that's an other story. I've been trying to find a job in this last period and this is why I have all this information  that I noticed most of my friends, family members and others just don't know about  so would like to share this with everybody.

Here I'm gonna list some useful websites, explaining very briefly what they're about.

COUCHSURFING
https://www.couchsurfing.org/

Thanks to Couchsurfing you can host or be hosted in a room, couch, or wherever there's room worldwide for free! Usually it's polite, when you are hosted to give a thankyou gift that can be something typically from your hometown or whatever you think can be ok for the occasion. I've used it for a total of 6 times up to now and it's always been safe but if you wanna be sure check out the "profiles" and comments of the people you are going to host/be hosted to.

WORKAWAY
http://www.workaway.info/

This is an other worldwide website where you can find opportunities to stay in a part of the world for much more days than couchsurfing but the difference is that in exchange you gotta work (help fixing a house, babysitting, office work). Today I've discovered this website, so haven't tried it yet but I see that there's a biennial payment that's affordable.

BlaBlaCar and CARPOOLING
http://www.blablacar.it/?utm_source=ADWORDS&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=&utm_campaign=ADWORDS_ALL_Brand&comuto_cmkt=IT_ADWORDS_Brand

http://www.carpooling.com/us/

This is a European and UK (the first one linked is in the italian language) ride-sharing website where you can offer or ask for a ride at very low prices (lower than a train ticket, or if you would travel alone). I couldn't find any similar U.s websites, guess this is why: http://gigaom.com/2013/06/26/why-ride-sharing-is-booming-in-europe-but-not-the-u-s/

TASKRABBIT
https://www.taskrabbit.com/

Here we have an American and UK website for "small jobs" called "tasks" and you get paid for doing it or them! Some people need help with a translation, somebody can ask you to tidy up their house and so on. Also here, like couchsurfing you create your own profile and there are feedbacks from you/who you worked for.
In Italy there's something similar but not very well known because it's limited to a few cities and it's called Sfinz:http://www.greenme.it/spazi-verdi/fattore-sharing/642-lavoro-hai-tempo-e-capacita-passa-dal-web

KICKSTARTER
https://www.kickstarter.com/

Is a "funding platform for creative projects". You can find funding for your dream project here. A factor that seems very important here is creativity, to create something original and useful.

KIJIJI (E-BAY)
http://www.kijiji.it/ (italian website)
http://www.ebayclassifieds.com/ (american)

Last but not least, the most known one with multiple uses mostly for free. I'm using the italian one, since I'm in Italy and for me it's very useful to find also temporary jobs and to publish any kind of advertisement (to sell stuff or  to let people know that you can give private lessons).

Do you know any other useful websites? If yes, please comment below!
I will update any innovations/websites I don't know about

My Very First Post

It's a while I've been thinking about creating a website or blog but didn't really know where to start and...why? Still have not figured it out yet but once I saw a picture posted on FB today (1) I just noticed that there was one word coming in my mind in this period: Innovation. But where do "new things" come from? Isn't mostly from the "ancient traditions" where all our present stuff comes from, from the Vedas to Hermes Trimegistus. So, what's so innovative about innovation? It's all about creativity, therefore our ability to get the old and transforming it into something more suitable and useful for the present time we are living in, and even after...maybe to be transformed again and again in the future. Maybe it's not a fact of being more and more perfect but a case of "upgrading" ourselves to what happens so there can be an outside reflection?
Talking about innovation, since I'm graduated in Biotechnology, an other innovative news I saw a few days ago from an Italian website is about a famous american scientist who wrote this book about "Biocentrism" that I'm reading.

Here's a comment from Robert Lanza's website (2):

"Biocentrism takes the reader on a seemingly improbable but ultimately inescapable journey  through a foreign universe—our own—from the  viewpoints of an acclaimed biologist and a  leading astronomer. Switching perspective from physics to biology unlocks the cages in which Western science has unwittingly managed to  confine itself. Biocentrism shatters the reader’s  ideas of life, time and space, and even death. At  the same time, it releases us from the dull  worldview that life is merely the activity of an  admixture of carbon and a few other elements; it suggests the exhilarating possibility that life is fundamentally immortal."

Seems like things are changing

everywhere from the  scientific field

to the educational system.

What's next?

P.s, Maybe I'll change my blog's name one day, but for now I really like it
